It's been a long week... PDF Print E-mail

These past two weeks have been harsh. Turns out installing an entirely new system into the Equinox is kind of hard. Who'd a thunk!

Overall, the team has installed a ton of wires interconnecting the MotoHawk processor to the flame reformer, all NOx sensors, multiple relays, a glow plug, air pump, fuel pump, fuel pump encoder, thermistor and exhaust/reformer selector valves. Needless to say very long hours were put into this project. Additionally, multiple mounts and custom clamps were designed and fabricated to accomodate new wires and new devices.

Currently, we are in the testing phase of the exhaust project. We plan to thoroughly test each individual item and tweak out any bugs in the system. This phase is going well. We plan on this phase to truly last a while. Seeing that this exhaust system has never been test on a vehicle, the exhaust system will surely be an interesting thing to learn and get working.

We hope there will be much more of these weekly updates in the future.
