Four of the OSU ChallengeX team leaders have just returned from the 2006-2007 ChallengeX Fall Workshop in Ottawa, Canada.  This years program included a variety of breakout sessions covering what is expected from the ChallengeX teams for year three with respect to performance, vehicle readiness, and consumer acceptability.  An increased emphasis will be put on perceptual quality and noise, vibration, and harshness as opposed to the previous year.

It was also announced at the workshop that the ChallengeX competition is now a four year competition!  In the fourth and final year, an unprecedented level of refinement, durability, and consumer acceptability is expected.  Third party consumer acceptability will also be a factor.  The fourth year will culminate with a road rally to Washingon DC, where teams will be greeted by the Secretary of the Department of Energy and various members of congress.

The Ohio State team has put together a plan of action for the third year of competition and we are ready win!  GO BUCKS!
