Maybe the Highway IS the perfect place for us. Why? We did it!

We came, we saw, we kicked its butt! We have a running Hybrid! The Gauntlet has been drawn! We have set the bar pretty damn high! We have set it higher than even we thought possible. This Ohio State Hybrid team is the BEST Ohio State team EVER! Why, we may even be the best TEAM ever! Okay, THAT may be pushing it . . . THEN AGAIN  . . . well we will let the judges decide that but if we have anything to say about it . . . and we do . . . anyway . .

We all pulled a marathon all nighter (not to mention a crazy working sprint over the last month) and we got that vehicle running in Hybrid. A control Strategy is implemented. We met ALL of the requirements for the inspection today and to quote Steve Gursky, one of the inspectors, "You guys should be proud. You are the best Ohio State team I have seen for the eight years I have been involved in this competition." That is saying a lot considering we placed 5th in 2004 and 3rd in 2005! What could be better?! Dare I say It?

YES! We will be taking that 1st Place Prize! We are coming to Mesa to Win. Not just to win, but to win spectacularly! And this team has the know how, the drive and the juice to do it.  

Now, we had some scary moments and some fraid nerves and even a few temper flare ups but all in all we worked well together and we NAILED it!
