Now the Equinox has no guts. We have taken a giant step forward and pulled the engine from the vehicle. Soon, and very soon, however, this sucker is gonna roar with diesel power. The powertrain guys dropped this thing right out the bottom. Things are so moving along and we should have no problem meeting the March 3rd deadline for an installed powertrain. I think there are a few long nights coming though. Joy!

Courtney, our fearless leader, has made the call to arms and everyone is responding. Kris and Tiny have been moving along on the ISA for testing purposes and are in the process of determining the best mounting for in vehicle operation for that little beauty.

Mike Arnett and his little band of brothers are chugging along on the transmission control.  Jason and the integration team have discovered a little slice of heaven in the control of the heads-up display. Man can he make the dials move! Meanwhile, John and the electrical group are moving along nicely with the battery box. And we mave have a very creative solution for the intercooler location. (No we will not say!) We have to keep some secrets.

What a thrill to see a plan come together.  Now, how exactly to mount the engine with the ISA in that tiny little engine compartment? Well, you will just have to wait and see. I guarantee it will be cool. Stay tuned to this station for more updates!
