After a lot of work by Courtney, Kris,  Tiny, Scacht, and I we got the engine ready for it's first start. Everyone busted their backsides over the Christmas break to find, beg, borrow and create whatever pieces parts we needed to get the engine ready. Kris and Eric Ward really worked on that wiring harness and created a beautiful relay box to start and control the Beast with. After filling the fluids and checking the connections and messaging the Beasts ego we turned the key and got her running! Perfectly! Okay well not really.

First we ran into a loose ground problem, and then a loose throttle wire, and then air in the fuel system (that was completely my fault. I accept the blame. I knew the feed tube was loose and convinced myself it would not matter. I should be tarred and feathered) and then we ran into a slight wiring error that was no fault of Kris or Eric. Let's just say they followed the instruction manual to the TEE. But a few creative solutions and a couple of "Connect the ECU, Knuckleheads" and at least one "Check the emergency shut off, Stooge" and that pesky, "Is there any fuel?"  problem and VROOM VROOM, we had a running engine.

The Beast is the most beatuful sounding music ever. She hums, purs, roars and growls on command! Next stop is some mapping and getting her in the Equinox! Thanks to everyone who worked hard, now the REAL work begins!
